What is the Parent Committee? A parent advisory committee works with the Director to help govern Glasser Preschool and organize fundraising activities. All preschool parents are invited and encouraged to attend the monthly preschool committee meetings. If you're looking for a way to become more involved with your child’s school and get to know other parents, serving on the Parent Committee is a great way to bolster our community. Please feel free to contact the Preschool Director or any committee member for more information.
Serving on the Parent Committee fulfills one of your two volunteer commitments.

What other volunteer commitments are required? Parent involvement is very important to Glasser Preschool! All preschool parents are required to assist in at least two volunteer activities during the school year. Opportunities include helping out at holiday celebrations and/or fundraiser events, serving on the parent committee, and working on community projects. Some activities occur during the school day, and others on evenings and weekends; you will be able to indicate your availability on the volunteer form included with your orientation packet, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
