Placement, Hours, and FeesGlasser Preschool maintains small class sizes. Two co-teachers staff each classroom. The student to teacher ratio varies by age group. The teacher:student ratios and maximum class sizes at Glasser Preschool are: two year olds 1:4 (max. 8); three year olds 1:7 (max. 14); four year olds 1:8 (max. 16). Based on the needs of the children in any particular year the class size may often be decreased to help promote the optimal learning environment for the children. Please note the two year old classrooms have an abbreviated schedule during September to allow for a smooth transition into the preschool experience.
Registration for 2022-2023 begins January 11th, 2022. Registration for OPT members will be the week of January 10th. Registration for current GPS families (including Tots program) who are not temple members will be the week of January 17th. Registration will open to the community starting on January 24th. We anticipate the preschool filling quickly as usual – so make sure you get your registration forms in by your designated week. We currently have a few spots still open for our 2nd semester classes, which begin on January 4th. We are forming a waitlist for a new two-year-old class which would meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. We also have a few openings in our morning four-year-old class. Please contact Marci at glasserpreschool@oakparktemple.org if you are interested in learning more about these openings. |
