Registration To register, please complete a registration form for each child. Return it with your check made payable to “Oak Park Temple” to 1235 N. Harlem Avenue, Oak Park, IL 60302. You can also print out the form HERE or fill the form out online HERE.
Fees Due at Registration One Month’s Tuition Deposit Your one month’s tuition deposit will be applied to the month of May 2026. Cancellation by May 15, 2025 will result in a refund of the one month’s tuition and the non-temple member fee. After May 15th the one month’s tuition deposit won't be refunded unless the position is filled by a child on our waiting list Supply and Technology Fee A non-refundable $200 supply and technology fee is due at registration. Building Fee An annual per family Building fee of $250 is to be paid at the beginning of the school year. For OPT members this will be applied to your OPT Building Fee. Class Placement Rank Registration Choices There are several class choices for each age group. Please rank your class choices for the applicable age group. If one or more of the class choices is not an option for your child, please cross out those choices. Please understand that we cannot guarantee your child a place in our school if you cross out any choices. Morning 4-Year-Old Classes Registered four-year-olds will be divided equally between the morning (Tigers) and afternoon (Bears) class. The Director will conduct a lottery to determine class assignment if more people express a preference for one time slot than there are spaces available. 1st Lottery: Temple members with enrolled siblings of different ages. 2nd Lottery: remaining Temple members. 3rd Lottery: current Glasser Preschool non-temple members with enrolled siblings of different ages. 4th Lottery: remaining current Glasser Preschool non-temple members. 5th Lottery: all remaining registered children. 5 Day Week Three-Year-Old Classes Depending on enrollment, we will have an option available of a 5 morning 3 year old class. If you are interested in this option, please indicate this on the registration form. You will be notified in February.. Wait Lists Wait lists will be formed for any classes that are full. If your first choice class is full, your child will be placed on the wait list for that class and be registered for your second or third choice unless you cross out these choices on your registration form. Children with September and October birthdays If your child has a September or October birthday and you would like them to be placed in the older class (e.g., in Lions/Zebras rather than Gan Katan/Turtles or Tigers/Bears rather than Lions/Zebras), please register for their age-appropriate class and indicate on the registration form that you are interested in moving your child up to the next age group. You will be contacted by the Director in early February regarding space availability and the appropriateness of the placement. Priority for all class placements will be given to children who meet the age deadlines. | ||||||
