Tuition & AssistanceTuition rates vary based on market conditions and classes selected.
Payment procedures. Tuition may be paid every two months, four months or annually, depending on your preference. A Tuition Payment Plan is mailed to families in August for selecting a payment option. The first tuition payment is due on the first day of class. You will be sent regular email reminders when tuition is due. Tuition more than 30 days late will be assessed a $20 late fee, and higher late fees and/or forced withdrawal of the child will apply as tuition grows increasingly delinquent. Supply and Technology Fee The supply and technology fee is paid as part of the registration fee. Fundraising Participation Policy It is a fact of life that tuition does not cover the expenses of maintaining a superior preschool program, even a nonprofit one such as ours. Accordingly, a sizable portion of our operating expenses is met through fundraising events planned by our Board of Directors. We ask and expect parents to support our fundraising efforts. We thank you -- the program and your child will benefit from your participation. Refunds Our refund policy is designed to keep our revenues constant so that we don’t run into budgetary deficits that would force us to raise tuition rates. Please keep in mind that we lay out these rules in advance for your protection as well as ours. Before school year begins: The deposit will be refunded if a parent informs the Director by May 15th that his/her child will not be attending the Preschool the following school year. After May 15th, the deposit will be returned only if the slot can be filled, and a deposit received, from another student before the first day of school. The non-member fee is refundable prior to the start of the school year. The supply fee is non-refundable. During school year: As each child takes a space in the Preschool whether he/she attends classes, no refunds or rebates will be for absences due to illness, vacation trips or holidays. If a parent withdraws a child from the Preschool, which is accomplished by informing the Director personally or in writing, for whatever reason (including moving or poor adaptation to the school environment), the deposit will be refunded at the Director’s discretion but only if a replacement student can be fully enrolled by the beginning of the next calendar month; the non-member fee will be refunded on a prorated basis. If the Director decides to remove a child from the preschool due to extreme behavior problems, the deposit will be refunded at the Director’s discretion. All prepaid tuition other than the deposit will be refunded, but only if a replacement student can be fully enrolled by the beginning of the next calendar month. |
