Please complete and return you parent/teacher conference sign up sheets to your child’s teacher ASAP so we can schedule the conferences. Thanks.
Please make sure that your child has a spare set of clothing in their cubby in their classroom that is appropriate for the colder weather. Even kids that are no longer having “potty accidents” still need a spare set – mud, paint, spilled water all result in a need to have a spare set of clothes here!

Tot Shabbat 9 AM
Monthly we invite you and your family to join together for a special Shabbat service for our little ones. It is designed to include simple prayers and songs appropriate for Shabbat, our weekly day of rest, and to share the spirit of being together. The October Service will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 9 AM and conclude about 9:30 AM with an Oneg, a time to have cookies and juice and quiet activities, in the Youth Lounge. We ask everyone who attends to bring a small nut free treat to share (a dozen or so cookies, fruit, etc.). Thank you to the Mervine-Schiff family as our parent volunteers for the Oneg.

On Friday, October 26th, join Oak Park Temple for a “nosh” at 6 PM in the Rotunda followed by a Kabbalat Shabbat Service at 6:30 PM and you’ll be home in time for the kids to go to bed at 7:30 PM. The Oak Park Temple joins together in the rotunda at 6 PM for social time prior to our 6:30 PM service. At 6:30 PM, we welcome Shabbat with a musical service featuring classically trained guitarist Aaron Burnstein. The time of the service allows those with small children to join us following an early dinner at home, and those who have more scheduling flexibility to have a leisurely dinner with family or friends following the service. Join Oak Park Temple in celebrating Shabbat with reflection and joyful communal singing!
