The Glasser Preschool does not recognize Halloween as part of the curriculum. We will not have special treats or costumes. Save the spirit for Purim, a Jewish Holiday celebrating the freedom of the Jewish people.
Please don’t forget to dress your child appropriately for outdoor play. We go outside whenever possible, so please remember the hats, gloves and coats when appropriate. Make sure your child’s name is in all clothing items!

Tot Shabbat
Monthly during the year, we invite you and your family to join together for a special Shabbat service for our little ones. It is designed to include simple prayers and songs appropriate for Shabbat, our weekly day of rest, and to share the spirit of being together. The Tot Shabbat service is lead by Oak Park Temple’s Rabbi Max Weiss and/or Cantor Julie Green. We will be alternating monthly between Friday evening services beginning at 7:00 PM and Saturday morning services beginning at 9:00 AM. Following both evening and morning services we will have an Oneg in the Youth Lounge. This is a time to have a snack and participate in quiet activities. The service and Oneg together will last about an hour. We ask everyone who attends to bring a small treat (no nuts please) to share at the Oneg. Please join us for our November Tot Shabbat on Friday, November 2nd at 7PM. Thank you in advance to our volunteers for the Oneg: parents of Sam Tushman.
