Camp Bet Yeladim Registration begins for GPS Families
It’s very exciting to start thinking about Camp Bet Yeladim for this summer - it means that summer will finally be arriving! Registration materials for Camp Bet Yeladim 2013 were sent home with the children in January (purple forms). See Marci if you need additional forms.
Camp Bet Yeladim offers children ages 3 to 6 (including children who will have just finished Kindergarten when camp begins) an exciting and rewarding day camp experience. Sign up for one or more of our two week camp sessions: Session Aleph: June 3rd to June 14th; Session Bet: June 17th through June 28th; Session Gimmel: July1st to July 12th; and Session Dalet: July 15th through July 26th. Registration began the week of March 5th for Oak Park Temple members and starts Monday March 11th for GPS families who are not OPT members. Space is limited!!
Our Camp Bet Yeladim program provides fresh air and fun in a supervised camp
conducted by trained adult staff. Camp is held outdoors on the lawn of the Temple backyard and in our air-conditioned classrooms. Our campers’ days consist of a combination of indoor and outdoor fun, water play, songs, art activities, stories and field trips to the local park. Those campers choosing the longer camp day will have a yummy lunch provided by Gourmet Gorilla. There are weekly special theme days such as Pajama Day, Water Day, and Costume Day. Fridays we will celebrate Shabbat with special arts and crafts projects, giving Tzedakah, a visit to the Chapel, and Challah at snack time. Additionally, we will be having several family activities during the summer such as camp picnic, concerts in the park, and Tot Shabbat.
